Storm Doris swept across the country today causing plenty of mayhem across the UK. Luckily in this area we got off lightly. There was plenty of heavy rain overnight and I had the luxury of snuggling under the duvet knowing that I wouldn't have to venture outside at all today unless I chose too. I decided it was a day to finish off some projects which had been waiting for a while.
First to be finished was the Nui wrap back apron which is a birthday present for my Sister (her birthday was last week!). The Nui pattern and the cotton fabric came from CoolCrafting. I added a couple of inches on the length and width and made one of the back panels and the pockets from a contrasting washed cotton chambray. In this photo it is hanging over a Trapeze dress (pattern by Merchant & Mills) with an Infinity cowl in Debbie Bliss Rialto dk.
Next up was another birthday present for my friend Sue. A Ruffle Scarf in Amitola Grande by Louis Harding. It looked very flowery rolled up too
I also had time too finish some Infinity cowls which I have been working on in different yarns, Here they are in Rialto dk, Rialto sock yarn and Baby Cashmerino all by Debbie Bliss. Even though after the rain had stopped and we had quite a lot of sunshine Casper decided to stay in bed all day.
